Pablo Cesar Barrientos (born 17 January 1985 in Comodoro Rivadavia ) is an Argentine football player.

Club career

Pablo Barrientos played at the beginning of his career at CA San Lorenzo de Almagro, where he already grew at a young age to be a fixture in the team. On 30 September 2003 he made his debut here in the Game against Estudiantes de La Plata. In 2006 he moved to the Russian Premjer League for FK Moscow. Since the midfielder not so often came there to use, 2008 he was again awarded to his former club San Lorenzo de Almagro to gain match practice again. Gameday On the third of the Clausura 2009 he suffered a Kreubandverletzung and completed since then no longer a game. Since the 2009/10 season Barrientos plays for the Italian first division club Calcio Catania, who bought the Argentinian FK Moscow for around 3.5 million euros.

National

On 15 November 2008 he was appointed due to its good performance in San Lorenzo for the first time by the new national team coach Diego Maradona in the Argentina national football team. However, during the game against Chile, he did not play.
