Pablo de la Guerra

Pablo de la Guerra ( born November 29, 1819 in Santa Barbara, California, Mexico, † February 5, 1874 in Santa Barbara, California ) was an American politician. In the years 1861 and 1862, he was appointed acting lieutenant governor of the State of California.

Career

Pablo de la Guerra attended a Catholic school in Monterey. After that, he embarked on a political career. In 1838 he began to work in Monterey for the local Mexican customs administration. In 1849 he was a member of the Constituent Assembly of the future U.S. state of California. Between 1851 and 1861 he was a member of the Senate of California, the President Pro Tempore in 1861 he was.

Since the office of Lieutenant Governor since the resignation of Governor Milton Latham and the moving up of the then Lieutenant-Governor John G.
