Pablo Heras-Casado

Pablo Heras- Casado ( born November 21, 1977 in Granada, Spain ) is a Spanish conductor.

Heras- Casado studied in Granada art history and drama and then at the Universidad de Alcalá conducting. Master classes have led him to Christopher Hogwood. During his studies he founded the ensemble Capella Exaudi and expermimentelle group Sonóora.

The conductor came with host concerts with the Berlin Philharmonic, Staatskapelle Berlin, the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Cleveland Orchestra, the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, the Salzburg Festival, the Munich Philharmonic, the Symphony Orchestra of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra ( with whom he recorded the Symphony No. 2 " hymn of Praise " by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy ), the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich and the Mariinsky Orchestra in St. Petersburg on. He is a regular intercontemporain also for the ensemble and the sound Wien worked. Since 2011 he has been principal conductor of the Orchestra of St. Luke's in New York.
