Pachomius the Serb

Pachomi Serb ( Logofet ) (Russian Пахомий Серб ( Логофет );? *, † after 1484 ) was a biographer and hagiographer of the Russian aristocracy and the clergy in the region around Novgorod and Moscow in the 15th century. He was also the author of praises and legends ( vitae ), canonical and official writings and writers. His works include about ten or eleven biographies of personalities of the nobility and clergy. Furthermore, Serb wrote about 21 and about 40 official canonical writings. He used the Church Slavonic liturgical - style form.
