Pacific Coast Soccer League

The Pacific Coast Soccer League ( PCSL ) is a football league in which teams from British Columbia ( Canada) and Washington play (United States). The league is officially the United States Adult Soccer Association affiliated to, but is in the U.S. or Canadian football pyramid over this. It stands on a level with the USL Premier Development League and the National Premier Soccer League. To U.S. teams for the U.S. Open Cup can qualify About this league.

It is recognized by both the Canadian Soccer Association ( CSA) as well as by the U.S. Soccer Federation USSF.

The season lasts usually from May to August.

History

The previous league was founded in 1930, played in her four teams: Vancouver St. Andrews, St. Saviours Vancouver, New Westminster Royals and Nanaimo. The PCSL merged in 1973 with the Mainland Senior Soccer League and the Inter- City Junior League for the British Columbia Senior Soccer League. This league named later to Vancouver Metro Soccer League.

The Pacific Coast Soccer League in its present compilation was created in 1995.

Nine men's teams and nine women's teams currently play in the Pacific Coast Soccer League. Currently all come teams from the Canadian province of British Columbia.
