Pacific Crest Trail
The Pacific Crest Trail (PCT ) is a 4240 km long distance hiking trail in the western U.S. from the Mexican to the Canadian border. He crosses it through the Sierra Nevada in California, at times he is with the John Muir Trail identical. He then runs over the ridge of the Cascade Range in Oregon and Washington. The road is one of the National Scenic Trails.

The trail is adjacent to the Appalachian Trail and the Continental Divide Trail one of the so-called Triple Crown ways. Hikers who have gone all three ways during their lifetime, received the " Triple Crowner ".
