Pacific Grove is a city in Monterey County in the U.S. state of California, United States, with 15,400 inhabitants ( 2004). The city covers an area of 10.4 km ². It is especially famous Asilomar conference center, a former summer camp of the YWCA, located directly in the Pacific Dunes. There, organized by Paul Berg Asilomar Conference on Recombinant DNA took place in 1975.
