Packetized elementary stream

PVA (Packet Video Audio ) is a video format. It is used partly for DVB recordings for recording.

PVA encapsulates the PES packets from the MPEG2 transport stream.

The PVA - stream time index information in addition to the video and audio data also contain necessary for synchronous MPEG2 stream.
