Padre Burgos (Quezon)

Padre Burgos is a Philippine municipality in the province of Quezon, in the administrative region IV, Calabarzon. It has 20,161 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 22 barangays. It is classified as the fourth income class municipality in the Philippines. The community was named after the Philippine national hero Jose Burgos.

Padre Burgos is located in the north of the bay of Tayabas, at the coast are extensive mangrove forests. Your neighboring municipalities are Atimonan in the north, Agdangan the southeast, Pagbilao in the northwest. The topography of the city is characterized by flatlands, rolling hills and mountainous landscapes. Parts of the Quezon National Park situated on the territory of the municipality.

Padre Burgos is connected via the Maharlika Highway to the Bicol region and the capital region of Metro Manila.
