Padre Island National Seashore

Padre Iceland National Seashore is an American national park. It includes a long section of the northern part of the island Padre Iceland on the Gulf Coast in the U.S. state of Texas.

The park consists of largely unspoilt coastline and the underlying dune landscape of the narrow island ( Spit ). It is particularly interesting for nature lovers in the time of bird migration, as many migratory birds rest on the way across the Gulf of Mexico there. The coastline is the longest undeveloped beach throughout the United States.
