Pagbilao, Quezon

Pagbilao is a Philippine municipality in the province of Quezon, in the administrative region IV, Calabarzon. It has 65 996 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 27 barangays. It is classified as a church of the first income class in the Philippines.

The municipality of Pagbilao surrounds the coast of the Bay of Pagbilao and is located in the north of the bay of Tayabas. In the bay are extensive mangrove forests. The largest river of the municipality is the Palsabangon River. Your neighboring municipalities are Atimonan in the northeast, Padre Burgos in the southeast, Lucena City Tayabas City in the West and in the Northeast. The topography of the city is characterized by flatlands, rolling hills and mountainous landscapes. Parts of the Quezon National Park and the River Binahaan Watershed Forest Reserve situated on the territory of the municipality.

Pagbilao is connected via the Maharlika Highway and the railway with the Bicol region and the capital region of Metro Manila. The daily railway is operated by the Philippine National Railways and the breakpoint is located in Barangay Malicboy.
