Painkiller (Cocktail)

The Painkiller is a cocktail made with rum mixed Traditionally, the first dark rum, orange juice, pineapple juice and sweetened coconut cream, then added shaved ice and finally grated nutmeg to it.

The Painkiller is the official cocktail of the British Virgin Islands. It was invented in the 70s at the Soggy Dollar Bar on the island of Jost Van Dyke.

Original recipe

• 4 parts pineapple juice
• 1 part orange juice
• 1 part Coconut Cream

Depending on the desired amount of rum to give the following proportion:

• For Painkiller # 2: 2 parts Pusser 's Rum ( dark rum )
• For Painkiller # 3: 3 parts Pusser 's Rum
• For Painkiller # 4: 4 parts Pusser 's Rum

Together with crushed ice ( crushed ice ) Mix and sprinkle freshly grated nutmeg over it.
