Paint Rock is the capital and the county seat ( county seat ) of the Concho County in the U.S. state of Texas in the United States.

Geography

The town is located just west of the geographical center of Texas, at the intersection of Ranch Road 380 with U.S. Highway 83 in Central County and has a total area of 4.3 km ² without significant water surface.

Demographic data

According to the census of 2000, there were 320 people in 110 households, and 83 families. The population density was 74.4 inhabitants per km ².
