Paisley South (Scottish Parliament constituency)

Paisley South was a constituency of the Scottish Parliament. It was introduced in 1999 as one of nine constituencies the election Region West of Scotland, which was re- cut by the revision of constituencies in 2011 and renamed in western Scotland. Here, the constituency of Paisley South was abolished. He covered the southern suburbs of Paisley and the towns of Johnstone, Elderslie and other parts of Renfrewshire Council Area. The area is largely worked in the new constituency of Paisley. The constituency sent one delegate.
