Geographical Location

Pakse is located at the mouth of Xedon (including Sedona, Ar ) in the Mekong and administratively exclusively on the left side of the Mekong, where the villages are growing on the other side of the Mekong River since the construction of the Lao -Japanese Bridge strong. History and Significance

The city was founded in 1905 by the French administration of Indochina colony. For some time it was the residence of Ratsadanay, the last, deposed by the French Prince of Champasak.
