The Palaische ( heth. palaumnili ) was spoken in the 2nd millennium BC in Central Anatolia, in the region Pala, north west of the Hittite heartland, and belonged to the Anatolian languages ​​, a subgroup of the Indo-European languages ​​. It came later than the 13th century BC disuse.

Are known only approximately 200 words in palaischen ritual texts that have survived in the palace archives of the Hittite capital Hattusa in cuneiform texts.
