Palestinian March 2007 National Unity Government

The government of the Palestinian Authority was formed by Prime Minister Ismail Haniyya on 17 March 2007. Following the Government 's cabinet consisted of members from Hamas, Fatah and members of other parties and independents. Because of the cooperation of two large rival factions Hamas and Fatah that government was also known as a government of national unity.

By President Mahmoud Abbas Prime Minister Haniyya was released on 14 June 2007 and dissolved the government. As the successor Salam Fayyad was determined whose Notkabinett was sworn in on 17 June 2007.
