Palingenesis
Palingenesis, also palingenesis or Palingenesis ( from Greek palin, " again " and γένεσις, génesis " formation, creation, birth" ) is a term that is used in theology, philosophy, geology, biology and the social sciences.
- Philosophy: In the ancient philosophy ( Heraclitus, Stoicism) the Palingenesis is after a world cycle to the catastrophes of Kataklysmos or Ekpyrosis following creation.
- In the philosophy of the Pythagoreans, Plato and Neoplatonism he called the reincarnation of the soul through transmigration.

- Theology: In Christianity he can for the rebirth of the inner man are by baptism.
- In Origen refers to the renewal of all creation at the end of times ( Apokatastasis ).
