Palingenesis

Palingenesis, also palingenesis or Palingenesis ( from Greek palin, " again " and γένεσις, génesis " formation, creation, birth" ) is a term that is used in theology, philosophy, geology, biology and the social sciences.

  • Philosophy: In the ancient philosophy ( Heraclitus, Stoicism) the Palingenesis is after a world cycle to the catastrophes of Kataklysmos or Ekpyrosis following creation.
