Pallas (crater)

Pallas is an impact crater on the lunar front side between the sinus and sinus Aestuum Medii, west of the crater Murchison, whose wall it is partially covered. The crater is eroded. The interior has a central mountain.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 by Peter Simon Pallas.
