The Muttiah Muralitharan International Cricket Stadium Pallekele International Cricket Stadium also or is a cricket stadium in Pallekele, Kandy, Sri Lanka. It was inaugurated in 2009 and has a capacity of 35,000 spectators. It was named after the Sri Lankan cricket player Muttiah Muralitharan, 2010. Since December 2010, the stadium is test stadium for home games of the Sri Lankan Cricket Team.

One- day cricket
The first major tournament which was held in this stadium was the Cricket World Cup 2011, with three preliminary round games were held here.
Test Cricket
As 104th Test Cricket stadium was discharged as a first test in December 2010, the game of the Sri Lankan team against the West Indies here world.
Twenty20
In 2012, three preliminary rounds and six intermediate round matches will be played in this stadium during the ICC World Twenty20.
