A Tropical House (also Troparium or tropicarium called ) is a greenhouse plant, with an artificial ecosystem with living conditions for tropical plants and / or animals.

Features

The tropical house is different from other greenhouses due to its high average temperature and the high humidity level. It is referred because of these properties as a hot house.

The tropical house is home to plants and animals that require a tropical or subtropical climate. For best possible living conditions to provide, zoological and botanical gardens have already begun in the 19th century, to construct buildings with artificially reared ecosystems. Tropical houses are usually designed as a steel frame and equipped with glass or plastic windows. In addition to acting slim design is mainly of light needed secured. The interior of the building is inspired by the rain forest and populated with birds, reptiles and amphibians.
