Palmar erythema
Palmar erythema is the name for a reddening of the palms. One finds this symptom, for example, in chronic hepatitis and liver cirrhosis ( liver skin sign) in collagen or rheumatoid arthritis.
In addition, medications ( eg longer revenue of glucocorticoids ), cigarette smoking or increased metabolism (eg in pregnancy, sepsis or hyperthyroidism ) can cause this skin disorder.
