Palo (Leyte)

Palo is a Philippine municipality in the province of Leyte on Leyte Island. It has 62 727 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 33 barangays. The community is described as partly urban and belongs to the third income class municipalities in the Philippines. Palo is bordered to the east by the Gulf of Leyte and is located in the coastal region of Leyte Sab -a Basin.
