Palomar 4

Palomar 4 (short: Pal 4) is a globular cluster in the constellation Ursa Major. Pal 4 was discovered in 1949 by Edwin Hubble and discovered a year later by Albert George Wilson again.

Initially, Pal 4 was temporarily classified as a dwarf galaxy. It was later found, however, that it is a globular cluster. The brightest individual stars have an apparent brightness of 18 mag.
