Pamela Hensley
Pamela Hensley ( born October 3, 1950 in Glendale, California as Pamela Gail Hensley ) is an American actress and author. She starred in several feature films, including Two dirty scoundrels, Rollerball or The Naked bomb. However, they became famous from the mid 1970s to the mid-1980s for her roles in popular American television series like Marcus Welby, MD, Buck Rogers or Matt Houston.
Life and career
Pamela Hensley was born in 1950 in Glendale, in the state of California. Her film debut was with 20 years in the Joseph L. Mankiewicz Western Two dirty scoundrels. Other film roles she played in 1971 in John Erman's Comedy Making It and the film drama Self-Portrait of 1973. Unhappy with the size of their previous roles she signed in the same year a Universal Studios contract from which they promised themselves more career potential. In the television series The New Treasure Hunt she played the role of a model from 1973 to 1974. This part opened more doors for her 1974 commitment and appearances in television series such as emergency California, Kojak - Kojak or the boss.
