Course of the Río Pamplonita

The Río Pamplonita is an approximately 115 km long river in the north of South America.

The Río Pamplonita flows through the Colombian Departamento de Norte de Santander, is the main river of the city of Cúcuta and flows south of Puerto Santander in the Río Zulia, which in turn flows into the Río Catatumbo. On the northern outskirts of Cúcuta the Río Táchira empties into the river. North of the Río Cúcuta Pamplonita forms briefly the border with Venezuela.
