Panagaeus
Two spot - Cross runners ( Panagaeus bipustulatus )
Panagaeus is a genus of the family of ground beetles ( Carabidae ).
Features
The body is black, the elytra red with a black cross drawing, the eyes may be due to a stronger Schläfenabschnürung telescopically before as on a pedestal. In the males, two Vordertarsenglieder are moderately enlarged.
System
In Central Europe, two species of the genus occur:
- Swamp Cross runners ( Panagaeus cruxmajor )
- Two spot - Cross runners ( Panagaeus bipustulatus )
