Panagiotis Vlachodimos

Panagiotis Vlachodimos (Greek Παναγιώτης Βλαχοδήμος, born 12 October 1991 in Stuttgart ) is a German footballer of Greek descent.

Career

Association

Vlachodimos began in 1996 at the former VfL Stuttgart -Wangen playing football. He moved in 2001 from the youth department of VfL Stuttgart -Wangen (now sporting culture Stuttgart ) for VfB Stuttgart. In the 2007 /08 season he scored in the founding season of U-17 Bundesliga in 23 games four goals and finished the season ranked third in the relay south / southwest. With 22 games and two goals from Vlachodimos in the 2008 /09 season, the U-19 VfB Stuttgart finished the season in the season south / southwest of the U-19 Bundesliga in fifth place. Vlachodimos was 3 April 2010 on matchday 32 of the season 2009/10 as the A- youth players for the second team of VfB Stuttgart in the 3rd professional league against Wacker Burghausen his professional debut.

For the 2011/12 season Vlachodimos changed after contract talks with the former Bundesliga player and sports director Kostas Konstantinidis to Skoda Xanthi in the Greek Super League. There he was in the first season to 27 inserts and scored three goals. In early May the title Rookie of the Year was awarded to him. He was the best rookie of the Greek league.

For the season 2012/13 undertook the Greek first division side Olympiakos Piraeus Vlachodimos. He signed a valid contract until 30 June 2017.

Vlachodimos was awarded in the 2013/14 season to FC Augsburg. His Bundesliga debut for the Augsburger he gave on August 10, 2013 ( 1st Round ) at the 0-4 defeat at home to Borussia Dortmund; This was also his only use for Augsburg in the Bundesliga. By the end of 2013, the loan contract by mutual consent was aufgelöst.Vlachodimos prematurely was loaned to the end of the season to the Greek first division club FC Platanias.

National

Vlachodimos has played, among others, for the Greek U -19 and U-21 national team. He was appointed in April 2010 for the elite round of the U-19 European Championship in 2010 again in this selection. His younger brother Odisseas Vlachodimos plays for German National selections.
