Panama Canal fence

The Panama Canal fence is the fortified border between the Republic of Panama and the Panama Canal Zone. It is the opinion of most Latin Americans a second Berlin Wall ( as the Colombian Ambassador to the Organization of American States).

History

The construction of the fence began in the late 1950s during the flag dispute between the U.S. and Panama in 1964.
