The Panay ( eng.: Panay River) is a river in the province of Capiz in the Philippines. It rises in the Nacuron Mountains, the western part of the Central Panay Mountains, near the border with the province of Aklan. The Panay has a length of 152 km and a catchment area of 1843 km ².

From its source in the community Jamindan, the Panay flows to the northeast in a wide river valley, and joins with its main tributaries, the Badbaran, the Mambusao and Maayon. From its confluence of Panay changes its flow direction from north-east to north, shares a few kilometers later in the lower reaches of Panay and Pontevedra called Bayou. The Pontevedra flows northeast and empties into the Palongpong Bay, south of the Bay of Pilar. The Pontevedra is the relatively water-rich branch of the river, as the lower reaches of Panay is strongly affected by sedimentation. The lower reaches of the Panay opens west of Roxas City in the Sibuyan Sea.
