Pandamonium was an animated series that was produced in 1982 in the United States. In Germany it was " The animated show" and shown in the 1980s in the ARD program in 1993 with the RTL II in the children's program " Vampy ".

When the evil magician Mondraggor wants to steal the pyramid of power that would give him an incredible power, it breaks into several pieces that were spread all over the world. Peter observed this with a telescope and he and his sister Peggy on the way to look for the pieces. At the beginning of their journey they meet the three -speaking panda bears, which have the ability to unite a large panda named Poppapanda and to pool their strength. In each episode a race starts at the pyramid pieces between Mondraggor and Peter and Peggy, who are supported by the pandas.
Mondraggor tried using every available means to win over the others, the pieces of the pyramid itself. To this end, he hypnotized among other other people who then help him. Hypnosis plays an important role in Mondraggors weapons against his opponents.
