Pandora Hearts
Pandora Hearts (Japaneseパンドラ ハーツ, Pandora Hatsu ) is a Japanese manga artist Jun Mochizuki Manga, which appears in Japan since 2006. The manga has been implemented as an anime series and radio and is classified in the genres of fantasy, mystery and action.

Action
The lives of Oz Vessalius, heir to one of an influential Duchy, changed abruptly on his 15th birthday, as he is suddenly confronted at his initiation ceremony with a mysterious chain named Alice and pushed by three strange hooded figures in the Abyss. The Abyss (アヴィス), which lies in a different dimension, is a prison for criminals, the unpardonable sin to have committed. The Chain (チェイン), creatures from the Abyss, this can only be by means of a contract with a person, the Contractor (契约 者, Keiyakusha ), leave. The Contractor has a similar time clocks on her chest, the pointer continues to move when the force of the chains is used. If the pointer walked around once, the Contractor is drawn together with his chain back into the Abyss.
As Oz in the Abyss comes back to himself, he stands against the chains. Before he knows it, he is being followed by one of these chains, whereupon he comes to the aid of the chain Alice. To escape from the Abyss, Oz makes a contract with Alice. But when he returns to the real dimension, he discovers that in his absence, 10 years have passed. Together with the organization Pandora (パンドラ), which has special interest in Oz and Alice, now looking for two after Alice's memories to learn more about Oz's past and the tragedy of Sablier. The tragedy came to pass 100 years ago and seems to be closely involved with Oz and Alice. Previously Sablier was the capital of the world, but 100 years ago, sank the city with all its inhabitants in the Abyss. Responsible for this should be Glen Baskerville, who was killed after this incident by Jack Vessalius.

She was Glen Baskerville's sister and is the mother of Alice and the Will of the Abyss. The grave of the Oz finds the music box is her grave. Lacie has been called " Child of Misfortune " born with red eyes. When she was a child, she agreed to an experiment. She became pregnant by Glen before throwing them into the Abyss. There she gave birth to the twins Alice and the Will of the Abyss. She had a very close relationship with Jack Vessalius. She helped him when he was on the road. She stole food for him, killed to protect him. It thus acquired his undying love and unconditional loyalty. She had a beautiful singing voice. Glen wrote for her before her death to an unfamiliar tune. After her death, Jack found that you should give this tune the name Lacie.

Pandora Hearts is published as a manga series in Shōnen Magazine GFantasy since issue 6/2006 of 18 May 2006 by Square Enix. The chapter also appeared in the previous 20 anthologies. The volumes sold in Japan in the first weeks up to 150,000 times
Yen Press publishes the manga in North America. Since March 2011, published 17 books with Carlsen Verlag in German.
Adaptations
Anime
Directed by Takao Kato produced the studio Xebec 2009, an anime series for Manga. The artistic direction took Keito Watanabe and the character design designed Chizuru Kobayashi and Shinichi Yamaoka. The first broadcast took place on 2 April 2009 to 24 September 2009 TBS and with a short offset at BS -i, Chubu- Nippon Broadcasting and MBS.
Anime of 2010 by NIS America, the U.S. subsidiary of Nippon Ichi Software was developed for the United States, licensed, as one of four titles with which the company wants to enter the U.S. anime market. Pandora Hearts is published in Germany and France by Kazé. The series appears in this country from 30 November to four boxes. In France, the entire series is already available in three volumes.
Synchronization
The German dubbed version was produced by the TV synchronous in Berlin. For dialogue director and synchronous book Gabriele Boehm was responsible.
Music
The music composed by Yuki Kajiura series. Was used for the opening credits the song Parallel Hearts by FictionJunction, the Broadcast was backed up with the titles Maze and Watashi where Mitsukete by Savage Genius.
Episodes
Radio drama and soundtracks
A first part of the soundtrack of the anime was released in April 2009, Victor Entertainment in Japan on a maxi-single. In June, followed by an album.
On 21 December 2007, a radio drama CD was released by Frontier Works to manga.
