Pang Sila Thong District

Amphoe Pang Sila Thong ( Thai: ปาง ศิลา ทอง ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the southwestern province of Kamphaeng Phet. The Kamphaeng Phet province is located in the northern region of Thailand.

Geography

The neighboring Amphoe are seen from the north: Khlong Lan, Khlong Khlung and Khanu Woralaksaburi in the province of Kamphaeng Phet and Amphoe Mae Wong in the province of Nakhon Sawan and Amphoe Umphang in Tak Province.

History

Pang Sila Thong was on 31 May in 1993 as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by the Tambon Ta Pang Wai, Hin Dat and Pho Thong were cleaved from the circle Khlong Khlung. On 11 October 1997, the sub-district has been promoted to Amphoe.

Pang Sila Thong The name stands for the three tambon that make up the county - Pang Pang for Ta Wai, Sila Thong Hin Dat and for Pho Thong.

Management

Pang Sila Thong is available in three subdistricts (tambon ) divided, the further into 42 villages ( Muban ) are divided.

There are also three " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations).
