Pango

Pango is a free library for drawing and layout of internationalized text. Pango is used for example in GTK since version 2, and in Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird to draw the writings. The name Pango is composed of the Greek " Pan" ( Παν, "all") and the Japanese "Go" (语, "language" ) and is intended to highlight the internationalization capabilities of Pango.

By the use of effects such as anti-aliasing Cairo are possible.
