Panhard et Levassor Dynamic
The Panhard & Levassor Dynamic is a four-door sedan power line, which in 1936 brought out the French Panhard & Levassor car manufacturers as the successor of the models CS and DS. House designer Louis Bionnier drew a streamlined body with partially covered wheel arches, three-piece panoramic windscreen ( " Panoramique " ) and recessed into the front fenders headlights and caused quite a stir.
A prototype, dynamic 20 CV known as, was established in March 1936 and had a 6-cylinder in-line engine with 3,485 cc (20 CV).
The mass-produced from May 1936 Dynamic model 130 had a slide-controlled 6- cylinder in-line engine with 2516 cc capacity of the previous model, CS, corresponding to 14 CV. There was a six-seater limousine with a long interior and without trunk, a four-seater saloon with a short interior and rear angefügtem luggage compartment ( Sedan ), and two coupe and a convertible version. From this weakest model until 1938, only 358 copies were produced.
In parallel, there was a Dynamic 140 which had the engine of the model simultaneously produced CS Spécial with 2,861 cc (16 CV). The 70 hp (51 kW) car was ordered by all Dynamic models most often. When his production was due to the war in 1940 set without replacement, 2,230 copies were created. With it the world's last car with valve engine disappeared.
The modern design allowed a wider interior space so that the vehicles could be interpreted as a three - six-seater respectively. This resulted in a specificity of early dynamic models, which means steering. The driver sat in the middle of the three places. In 1937, the Dynamic model was presented 160 as successor to the DS. The displacement of the Big Dipper corresponded with 3,834 cc 22 CV. Until 1938 created 153 copies.
