Panna cotta

Panna cotta ( f ) ( Italian " cooked cream " ) is a North Italian dessert made ​​from cream, sugar and gelatin. It is often also added vanilla.

To prepare cream is gently heated with sugar ( and a vanilla bean ) and lightly cooked up to a quarter of an hour. This mass is being added so much gelatin that the cream after cooling, retains its shape, but not too tight. The mixture is poured into molds and plunged after solidification on dessert plate.

Panna cotta is usually served with fruit sauces or preserved fruits.
