Pannier

(Also called panniers ) bicycle bags are bags of various designs, which are specially designed for attachment to the bike. Often they are made of waterproof material. There are bag systems in different sizes and different capacities that are placed in the form of an inverted U over the bike rack and then fixed with buckles or similar.

Today also common and increasingly prevalent are individual pockets that can be attached with various mechanisms established clicking on luggage carrier or lowrider and easily removed again.

Another form are handlebar bags that are either attached by buckles or with a click system before the handlebars of the bicycle. Often they are provided with a transparent protective sleeve that allows the reading of a map while driving, and protects it from rain and dirt.

There are bags that outwardly resemble briefcases and have protective liners for transporting a laptop, suitcase -like bags for the rear rack, handlebar bags with camera operations and other special designs.
