Panos Karnezis

Panos Karnezis (born 1967 ) is a Greek -born writer.

Life

He moved in 1992 to England and studied engineering there. After some time in industry, he received his Master degree in Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia.

Panos Karnezis currently lives in London.

The maze is about a Greek brigade after the end of the Greco- Turkish war. While the rest of the invading army of the Greeks from Turkey flees, the troops sitting around the morphine- addicted General Nestor stuck in the desert. In addition to theft and communist manifestos gnaws also committed to a village population massacre of the soldiers' morale. When they come across a small town, the men believe saved.

Karnezis describes the mutually entangled fates of army members and city residents. He sketched as a picture of a forgotten war.
