Panserraikos F.C.

The Panserraikos FC is a Greek football club from Serres, who plays in the Football League, Greece 's second tier.

History

The association was created in 1964 from the merger of two local clubs Iraklis and Apollon. After the founding Panserraikos played until the 1970s regularly in the first Greek league. 1992 exceeded the northern Greeks for the last time in the Beta Ethniki and a year later the same further into the Gamma Ethniki from. After further ascents and descents, the club played in the second division until 2008 and then increased as a sovereign leader and 16 years of abstinence on in the Super League. However Panserraikos could not hold the class and went back a year later from the second division. The winner of the playoffs in 2009/10, the club managed to rise again in Greece's top flight, but again the team got off again.
