Panyu District

The Panyu (番禺 区) is a district of the Chinese city of Guangzhou in Guangdong Province. It has an area of 786.15 km ² and about 947 600 inhabitants.

Located in Panyus road district Nancun Yuyin Garden (余 荫 山房), which located in the large village Xinzao Two tombs from the time of the Southern Han Empire (南 汉 二 陵, Nan Han he ling ) and the old quarry in Lianhua Shan Road neighborhood Shilou are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China.

Administrative Divisions

At the community level, the municipality is made up of eleven road districts and eight large communities.

Sports

1991 Panyu was one of the venues for the first World Cup of women. In addition to four group matches, a semi-final stage took place at the Ying Dong.
