Paolo Buzzi

Paolo Buzzi (* February 15, 1874 in Milan, † February 18, 1956 ) was an Italian poet of Futurism.

Life

Buzzi studied law at Pavia, but also attended lectures on literature and also wins the 1891 Milan Concorso di Poesia. Professionally he is a lawyer in the Milan Provincial Council has worked with social issues. 1898 succeeds with his Rapsodie leopardiane the actual artistic breakthrough. In 1905, a competition in which was founded by Marinetti and Sem Benelli literary magazine Poesia advertised, which is to determine the best Italian poets, going back Buzzi as the winner. Then he begins to write Poesia and enters the Futurists in 1909. Inspired by Marinetti to poetic freedom, he developed the " Tavole in libertà " where words and sentence fragments are freely arranged on one sheet.
