Paolo Maria Nocera

Paolo Maria Nocera (born 22 July 1985 in Rome ) is an Italian racing driver.

Nocera began his career in 2000 in karting. In 2002 he transferred to the Italian Formula Ford, who was able to secure was immediately awarded the runner-up title. 2003 drove the Italians in the Italian Formula Renault and finished 20th overall. Moreover launched at a race in the Formula Renault Eurocup. The next two years was Nocera active in the Italian Formula 3 and in 2005 was third in the overall standings. 2006 drove Nocera one season each half in the Euro Series 3000 and the Formula 3 Euro Series. 2007 moved Nocera back to the Italian Formula 3 He drove - as in 2004 and 2005 - for the Lucidi team and the championship could decide for themselves.

2008 was committed for the GP2 series Paolo Maria Nocera BCN Competición. After the race weekend in Barcelona he had to vacate his seat for the Spaniard Adrián Vallés. On August 25 it was announced that Nocera has been committed by RC Motorsport for the World Series by Renault as a replacement for Duncan Tappy.
