Paolo Salvati

Paolo Salvati ( born February 22, 1939 in Rome ) is an Italian painter. He is an expressionist painter who sees it as his artistic role that modernity to live together with the ancient art. His models are William Turner, Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Henri de Toulouse- Lautrec.

Life and work

From 1967 to 1969 he exhibited a series of works in oil on canvas Cagliari, Oristano, Bosa, Ghilarza and Paulilatino. From 1970 onwards, he participated in the exhibition of sculptural and figurative art of Trinità dei Monti and Galleria Alberto Sordi ( former Galleria Colonna ) in Rome part. He painted themes that are inspired by imagination as " Pietra Blu " (1973 and 1974 ), " Sogni di i Primavera d' Alta Montagna " (1974) and " d' Estate" (1975 ), " Alberi Blu " (1980 ), " la Montagna Gialla " (1991). He then created a series of works, landscapes, seascapes, portraits titled " Fronde Rosse " (1993, 1994 and 2000).

He used the techniques of oil on canvas, tempera, pastel, acrylic and presented personally canvases and frames here, which were used for his works. He worked 1973-1993 as a miniature painter in the Piazza Navona in Rome. He painted oil on wood miniatures showing Roman monuments and fantasy landscapes. Since 1977 he worked only as a portrait painter; he used pastels on paper and painted in the following years, numerous portraits, and oil on canvas. He became an expert in the planning and implementation of wooden frame and developed cold bonding techniques for applying gold and silver foils. He loves music for classical guitar; A passion he tried in violin.

Awards
