The film tells the story in an unspectacular way and focus completely on what is happening with and between the figures. Strikingly much space has been given to the flying scenes with Ruby, carrying a not inconsiderable part of the mood of the film.

The German subtitle " One man, one word ," which is printed on the cover of the DVD, performs somewhat misleading: While there is a substantive reference to the movie, the sound for " hard Western " but awakens clearly false associations. Something closer to the romantic, easy comedy -like character of the film is the title of Paperback Hero, came under the strip into German television.

Comments

The film is probably best known among fans Hugh Jackman ( Jackman was here his screen debut ), the most findable on the internet reviews come from this environment. The film was quite successful in Australia and the United Kingdom: In the first week it reached number 6 in the box office.

Interesting: Angie Milliken as an eccentric publisher Ziggy Keane. It lends its role not only essential for such films comic element, it also embodies the satisfaction of some key ideas to give the film a distinctly about the " dud " beyond dimension.
