Parc de Belleville

The Parc de Belleville is a park on the 108 m high hill of Belleville (French butte de Belleville ) in the 20th arrondissement of Paris in the Belleville district.

The park is known for its preferred height of 30 m terrace with views of the main monuments of Paris and the 100 -meter cascade fountain.

On the grounds of the Parc de Belleville is also the Maison de l'Air, one of the air and especially atmospheric pollution dedicated didactic museum.

History

It was here in 1814, the Battle of Paris, between Tsar Alexander I and Napoleon Bonaparte instead.
