The Ecole d' Économie de Paris is a collaboration of several French universities and two research centers in the Paris area. The task of the Ecole d' Économie de Paris is located in the bundling of top-class economic research and the training of graduates. The name ( in its English version Paris School of Economics ) was elected on the basis of the prestigious London School of Economics, to illustrate the claim of the merger. Participating Institutions are the École Normale Supérieure, the École nationale des ponts et chaussées, the Université Paris 1 Panthéon- Sorbonne, the École des hautes études en sciences sociales ( EHESS ), and the two research centers Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique (INRA ) and Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS ).
