Paris is a city and administrative headquarters of the U.S. Henry County, Tennessee, 138 kilometers west of Nashville. In 1900, Paris had 2018 inhabitants, in 1910 there were 3881 and 1940, 6395 inhabitants. According to 2002 census lived at that time 9763 people in Paris.

In the Memorial Park of the town is a 18 m -size replica of the original Eiffel Tower in Paris. It was originally constructed in the early 1990s by the Christian Brothers University, but suffered on wood decay and was soon replaced by a metal construction. Paris is also the home of the "World's Biggest Fish Fry ", the world's largest baked fish.
