Parker Ranch

The Parker Ranch, which located in Waimea (also called Kamuela, by Samuel Parker in the Hawaiian case of Samuel ) is located in the north of the island of Hawaii, is one of the largest farms in the United States, with 900 km ² land area and about 60,000 cattle.

The ranch founded in 1847, is one of the oldest in the United States and owes the huge pastures the fertile volcanic soil. After the death of the last owner Richard Smart, the Parker Ranch was converted along with the art collection Smarts in 1992 in the Parker Ranch Foundation Trust.
