History

The first documentary mention of the place Parkstetten dates from the year 1216. Parkstetten belonged to Rentamt Straubing and the district court Mitterfels of the Electorate of Bavaria.

Incorporations

On 1 January 1973, until then independent municipality Reibersdorf was incorporated. On 1 July 1976 parts of the territory of the dissolved municipality Unterzeitldorn were added ( fishing village, peace grove and Unterharthof ).
