Reviews

The project has been variously criticized as Parla a dormitory town south of Madrid, was in the running, most traffic relations with neighboring cities. In Parliament itself there are only jobs in small manufacturing and service sectors. Therefore were needed better inter-city transport links. Furthermore, the current track not connect all areas of the city such as La Laguna or the hospital Hospital Infanta Cristina.

Because of the planned future expansion of the tram network with the creation of additional lines which would open up the entire city, all the current deficiencies are remedied. In addition, supporters argue that thanks to the tram quite Parla will connected to the S -Bahn and thus get connection to the capital. Overall, the tram traffic relationships facilitated within the city, thus making the local economy and the local services would be strengthened.

In the first year of operation used 2.35 million passengers use the tram. In the second year of operation, the number rose to 3.8 million passengers and in the third year of operation to 4.38 million passengers. Despite the sharp increase in ridership, there are voices that do not keep the demand on the route for tram worthy.

So far, architects and other leaders from the Netherlands, China and New Zealand visited the tram Parla, as well as other Spanish cities such as Valladolid, Ciudad Real and Seville. In January 2011, future tram driver from Zaragoza visited the city because of the tram service was one of the best in Spain.
